Description

A short recap on the development process:

On June 2021 I tried my cousins sim racing cockpit but I’m very tall, didn’t fit in it and ruined my knees. Moreover, the racing posture was awful due to that the Logitech G27 steering wheel he has was designed to mount on a standard desktop (way lower than your head) and the pedals on the floor, favoring global compatibility over realistic driving posture simulation with a vertical wheel, lower shifter knob and higher pedals. I decided to design my own sim racing cockpit to adapt the Logitech kits to a more realistic racing ergonomics and make it adjustable to fit everyone.

It is very sturdy, let you use your regular office chair, has plenty of wheel, pedals, shifter and monitor adjustment options with over 3000 combinations, has a pre-defined location for the CPU tower, place for your headphones, joysticks and VR headset, and it looks great.

Features

Heavy Duty

It is super strong – Inserts based structures are strong to begin with but I added bolts + t-nuts in all critical joints and made it rock solid.

How it works ⬇️
Reinforcement locations ⬇️

Universal mounting holes

It comes with the holes for mounting most Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheels, pedals and gear shifters so you can mount them without having to drill yourself. Check your gear or drilling template, it should match one of these combinations.

Extra peripherals locations

I also added many spots for common accessories so they remain organized & within reach.

Many options to have your peripherals organized.

Large monitor stand

The monitor stand is 1280 x 330 mm and well supported to place your monitors & gaming consoles.

Project Cockpit large stand with a 3 monitor setup.

Dedicated CPU base

A predefined location for the CPU with enough room for an ATX mid-tower, all-around clearance for good ventilation and depth adjustment with the dash. Don’t use a tower? The supports are removable.

Fast & easy assembly process
