Infinite-IQ: A Leap in Dynamic Nesting
We’ve completely rewritten our server nesting logic. I’m thrilled to introduce our new, infinitely smarter nesting algorithm. While cabinetry nesting is straightforward, organic nesting for complex, curved furniture parts is notoriously difficult. After extensive coding and testing, our engine now autonomously calculates the most efficient layout for non-rectangular parts across multiple boards. This means new parameter combinations, eased parameter restrictions, less wasted material, automatic adaptation to your specific board size and minimal manual nesting required in your CAM software.

In our previous post Parametric CNC Plans: Faster & Better, we mentioned testing direct checkout buttons. I’m happy to announce this is now fully live! If you just want a standard plan without tweaking parameters, you can bypass the credit system entirely. New Models: playDesk3 & Loft Bed M1
⬅️ On the design front, the highly anticipated playDesk3 is officially parametric. It features uncompromising structural integrity with 12 anchor points and incredible ergonomic freedom. We’re also officially entering the kids’ furniture space with our new Loft Bed M1—engineered for maximum safety and straightforward CNC routing.
Empowering Designers
We’ve heavily upgraded our internal Static Plan to Parametric Generator tool. It can now directly convert standard DXF files into our proprietary ModMaker formulas. This is a huge step toward our vision of opening Turnifure to third-party designers, allowing anyone to easily make their static designs dynamically adjustable.
Finally, we also improved our 3D preview textures, shaders and model lighting so your quotation images are even more compelling. These updates represent step forward in usability and efficiency. Go test the new nesting capabilities in ModMaker in our highly variable model deskBed.
