Turnifure Studio: YAML Architecture & AI Integration
Following our initial announcement in our Real-Time CNC Design Editor update, Turnifure Studio has reached a critical milestone. We have successfully migrated our recipe architecture from JSON to clean YAML.
This change simplifies parametric scripting, enhances syntax error detection, and enables custom color-coding for variables and formulas. We also integrated an AI assistant powered by Gemini to help designers debug complex formulas instantly.
With single-click component focus checkboxes and Ctrl+Click navigation to definitions, parametric modeling is now faster and more reliable than ever.

Lighter, Faster Visual Performance
We completely overhauled our homepage visual pipeline, replacing heavy media assets with lightweight, staged render sequences. This upgrade reduces load latency and provides immediate visual responsiveness on workshop mobile devices.
Refining the Distributed Fabrication Model
Our recent in-depth interviews with commercial CNC makers highlighted key operational requirements regarding material nesting and machine run-time optimization. In parallel with our expanding designer onboarding initiatives, we are aligning Turnifure to bridge author designs with localized manufacturing hubs.
