ModMaker: Edge Banding & Dashboards

It has been a highly productive couple of weeks at the Turnifure workshop! We have been heads-down coding, iterating, and testing to bring massive user experience improvements to both our makers and our design partners.

Speaking of quoting, we are also working on a Maker Dashboard. Subscribers of the Maker’s PASS will have a centralized backend to monitor their account status, view their generation logs, seamlessly re-generate past configurations and a new functionality to real-time estimate a manufacturing cost based on required material, cuts length, and edgebanding length.

The Wavy Bookshelf is Ready!

On the design side, the Wavy Standing Bookshelf M1 is officially out of beta! We have added nesting-optimized variations for 1 to 3 board setups. Plus, we integrated Rafix connector holes across all backpanels and shelves. It has never been easier to confidently cut and assemble something this beautifully organic.

Empowering Our Designers with AI

For our upcoming designers, we are working on the Designer Dashboard where they’ll track their active models and generation statistics and an AI-powered Idea Drop tool. Designers will be able to literally drop a photo and a quick audio note from their phone, and our system autonomously drafts polished, SEO-optimized marketing content to boost their visibility. It is all about removing the marketing friction so creators can focus on what they do best: designing.
