Visualize Customizable CNC Plans

Visualizing Quotes Just Got Easier

It has been a busy few weeks behind the scenes at turnifure.com. Our focus lately has been on improving the tools you use not just to cut parts, but to sell your services to clients. We know that helping a client visualize the final piece is crucial for closing a sale.

Introducing Texture Swapping and Preview Downloads

We have overhauled the ModMaker 3D Preview. Previously, models were shown in a basic white finish. Now, you can swap textures in real-time directly within the preview window. We have added various wood grains, solid colors like grey and black, and even finishes like carbon fiber.

⬅️ Furthermore, we have replaced the old Styler tool with a direct PNG download feature. You can now download a high-resolution image of your customized model, complete with the selected texture and a transparent background, ready to drop into a quote or send directly to a client via WhatsApp or email.

To further help you share concepts with clients, we have also integrated quick sharing buttons for Pinterest and Facebook directly on the product pages.

Critical DXF Compatibility Fixes

On the technical side, we addressed a critical issue reported by users where our generated DXF files were not opening correctly in popular software like Vectric and AutoCAD Web. We traced this back to comment parameters within the DXF code. This has been cleaned up, ensuring smoother imports into your CAM workflow.

New Cabinetry Model

We continue to expand our parametric library. We have officially added the Adjustable Height Shelves Column, perfect for filling awkward spaces, and are finalizing prototypes for more complex cabinetry with drawers.

Finally, we’ve been getting so many requests for finished / delivered RTA units, we had to set a few resources towards exploring that drop-shipping model. As a first measure we added a location based waitlist on model pages to gauge the real potential. We’ll gather data and then seek partnerships based on that priority list, starting with our Maker’s PASS subscribers. Wanna be our partner? Contact us.
