Wavy Curves & Mobile Upgrades: The Next Evolution of ModMaker

Welcome back! We’ve been hard at work since our last update, pushing the boundaries of what Turnifure can offer to both CNC makers and design enthusiasts. Here’s a look at the major improvements we’ve rolled out since April.

Rethinking Assembly: 2-Step Anchors

We are redesigning the accessory anchors for the playDesk3 and future gaming models. The new 2-step fixing system will allow accessories to slide through the panel with a locking protrusion, secured firmly by a supplement from the inside. This functional upgrade guarantees a highly stable, mechanically secure joint increasing the lifespan of the furniture and requires less surface area, allowing for more density in anchor points and enabling versatile, multi-axis anchoring orientations.

The Wavy Table & Advanced Curve Generation

Wavy Low Table M1 - Low Profile (36 cm) 90 cm x 90 cm Square Coffee Table - Material: 18 mm

⬅️ We love organic designs! We’ve successfully integrated a new curve-generating algorithm to create the stunning parametric Wavy Coffee Table M1. This two-tier coffee table allows you to adjust the wave profile seamlessly. Makers can now cut complex organic shapes effortlessly, while users get a highly customized relaxed, modern aesthetic for their living rooms.

ModMaker Mobile Upgrade

Following up on the performance architecture enhancement we mentioned in our Faster & Better post, we’ve further enhanced ModMaker’s UI. You can now enjoy a more streamlined and minimalistic experience on mobile devices. Tweaking your CNC plans on the go has never been smoother, offering a massive UX improvement for mobile shoppers.

Expanding the Catalog: Drafting Table & Wavy Bookshelf

We are currently in the early design stages for a premium, adjustable Architect’s Drafting Table. This will open up a highly requested, high-value niche for our fabrication partners, offering an affordable yet premium solution for professionals and artists. The Wavy Bookshelf is set to become the flagship of the Wavy line. We are planning at least 2 versions, 1 standing to place against the wall and a second one as a room divider.

Empowering the Design Community

Building upon the tools we introduced in our March update, we’ve finalized the “recipe” structure linking designer profiles with product data fields. This crucial backend enhancement streamlines the onboarding process for third-party designers, paving the way for a massive influx of fresh, multi-designer parametric plans.

📅 Update 2026-06-09 – Wavy Bookshelf Parametric Modes

⬅️ The Wavy Bookshelf now features advanced wave control. We implemented ‘Calm’, ‘Breeze’, and ‘Storm’ modes to toggle between uniform and variable shelf profiles, and added a final base structure component for improved wall-mounting integrity. All parameters are fully integrated into the ModMaker engine for real-time visualization.
